BR 45106 stands at London St. Pancras with the evening commuter train to Derby on 23/11/1988.
Painted into green livery in 1988 as a railtour engine, 45106 was also regularly used on a daily commuter run from Derby to London and back. I'd covered the turn two days previously to find a 47 on the diagram and gone to Scotland in disgust with 87025 expiring on the northbound Royal Scot to be replaced by 85006, but this was the last time I saw the loco.
