BR 47831 leads 47703 into Cheltenham on 03/09/2001.
1S48, the 07:15 Birstol Temple Meads to Edinburgh, was booked a pair of engines on a Monday during the summer in order to return the Newton Abbott thunderbird to Birmingham. Annoyingly, 47703 is the only one of the Fragonset 47/7s that I haven't got a photo of on the front of a train, except 710 which I haven't seen at all. 47831 is named "Bolton Wanderer", presumably after the football team, and 703 carries the name "Hermes", the Greek god's messenger and Divine Herald - known by the Romans as Mercury.
