BR D2246 stands at Totnes Littlehempston on the South Devon Railway on 10/05/2003.
One of BR's Class 04 shunters D2246 entered service at the end of 1956 at Neville Hill and was withdrawn a mere 12
years later from Knottingley depot. From there she went into industrial use ending up with British Coal before
being bought by Harry Needle, who in turn sold her on to the Devon Diesel Society in 2000.
