DB 099 7237-3 stands at Alexisbad while the crew have a break on the 21st March 1991.
This was my first trip to Germany and how I ended up covering the Harz steam as a result of 218002 working out of Nurnberg the previous night is a long story. Nevertheless I enjoyed it and have returned a couple of times to the Harz, and also visited most of the other steam operated lines before they were sold off to private operators.
