SNCB 1608 stands at Köln Hbf on the 15th September 2002, on the first trip of the day from Oostende.
Some years ago Marklin sponsored the painting of the first two class 16s into an advertising livery, and in 2001 they apparently were considering sponsoring the repaint of a class 22 into B-Cargo green livery.
However, this was not to be and they ended up repainting another class 16 into a third different livery for the class. Whether there is any significance to the fact that 1601/2 were silver and 1608 is gold I'm not sure, but as the others have now returned to the standard blue livery it's fairly irrelevant now.
