SNCB 5941 stands at Bressoux on the 19th May 2001 as it reverses onto Mercia Charters train "The Big Gppdbye".
SNCBs limited class 59 fleet seems to be under severe threat now, with two locos written off at Remicourt earlier in the year and another two rumoured to have been withdrawn only 6 servicable engines remain. Fortunately there are a number in preservation with two (5922/47) at the Vennbahn, one preseved by SNCB (5910) and one preserved by PFT (5927). There's even one in service with the Italian firm Gleismac (5933).
